Circl Leader as Coach Programme

Explore how Circl’s leadership programme works — from your first introduction to becoming part of our growing alumni network.

  • Before the programme begins, you’ll join a short online session to meet your dedicated Circl Programme Team and hear directly from a Future Leader alum. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, build excitement, and understand what to expect from your journey.

  • Meet your match partner—either a Future Leader or a Professional—and begin building trust. You’ll explore what it means to be a coach (not a mentor!) and how inclusive leadership starts with mutual learning.

  • This session will deepen your coaching skills by recapping open questions and introducing the TGROW model. You’ll learn how to apply TGROW in both 1-2-1 and self-coaching contexts, understand the importance of contracting, and practise using the model in pairs.

  • This session focuses on enhancing your listening skills—a critical element in effective coaching. We will cover tools such as silence, minimal encouragers, and paraphrasing.

  • This session focuses on balancing support and challenge in coaching conversations. You’ll explore the comfort zone concept, the Support/Challenge Matrix, and how to use scaling tools within TGROW. Through practical exercises, you’ll build confidence in stretching and supporting coachees to unlock their full potential.

  • This session is all about putting your coaching skills into practice. You’ll explore real coaching challenges, observe a live demo, and take part in trios to practise coaching, being coached, and giving feedback. It’s a chance to refine your technique, build confidence, and strengthen your ability to coach effectively in the real world.

  • You’ve made it to the final session — time to reflect and celebrate. Together, we’ll revisit key coaching skills, reflect on your Circl Match experience, and look ahead to how you’ll continue your journey beyond the programme. You’ll take part in the Circl Graduation, recognising your growth and celebrating with your peers. Let’s mark the progress you’ve made — and the future you’re stepping into.

The Circl Programme

2-hour group sessions with 1 hour 1-2-1’s in between each session
